I bring over 20 years of experience in the mental health field.  I earned my Master of Social Work degree (MSW) and bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Washington.  I spent several years working in community mental health and at the Seattle Veterans Hospital.  I have extensive post-graduate education and training in a number of therapeutic approaches.  I draw most from my training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. 

 

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the State of Washington  LW00007750).

I have expertise treating a variety of mental health issues including post traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, geriatric mental health and issues specific to combat and non-combat Veterans.

I am a Seattle native and I am also a musician.  My lifelong love of music and my meditation and yoga practices help me in finding balance.  I have a good sense of humor and won't deny that it often enters the therapy room.
